These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by OakBridge Plumbing Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking a service, requesting a quote, or taking out a membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Services
We provide plumbing repairs, installations, bathroom renovations, and maintenance services. We also offer membership plans for ongoing cover. Service availability may vary depending on location, resources, and scheduling.
2. Quotes & Estimates

Any quotes given are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Quotes are based on the information you provide — if the job changes (e.g., hidden faults, extra parts needed), the price may be revised.

Emergency callouts may be charged at different rates from standard bookings.
3. Bookings & Cancellations

We aim to arrive at the agreed time but cannot be held liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a callout fee.

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if the job is unsafe, illegal, or beyond our service capability.
4. Payments

Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments (processed securely — we do not store card details).

Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, plus reasonable debt recovery costs.
5. Membership Plans

Membership benefits apply only once your first payment has cleared.

Cover applies to emergencies as defined in your membership agreement — not to pre-existing faults.

We may change membership fees or benefits with at least 30 days’ written notice.
6. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area.

Ensure water, gas, and electricity supplies (if required) are available.

Inform us of any known hazards (e.g., asbestos, faulty wiring).

Obtain any necessary permissions from landlords or neighbours.
7. Parts & Materials

We use new, high-quality parts unless you request otherwise.

If you supply your own parts, we cannot guarantee their quality and accept no liability if they fail.

Any warranties on parts are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
8. Warranty & Liability

Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months unless stated otherwise.

This guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or problems caused by unrelated systems.

We are not liable for:

Pre-existing faults or damage.

Indirect or consequential loss (e.g., lost earnings, water damage from unrelated faults).

Work carried out by third parties after our service.

9. Photos & Marketing
We may take photos of completed work for our records or marketing. By engaging our services, you give implied consent for this unless you request otherwise.
10. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact us at support@oakbridgeplumbing.com. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
